You asked and we listened.

The inherent randomness of AI sometimes produces undesirable results.

This meant for some of our customers the generated images weren’t the quality they wanted, and sometimes contained random, undesirable objects.

Today we're announcing the first step we're taking to tackle this problem: the Magic Eraser feature.

With this new feature, you're now able to edit all images generated by the Snapshot AI model, and erase any area of the image.

Snapshot will use AI to regenerate the erased area to fit the surrounding.

We're using state-of-the-art tech to power this feature so you're getting best-in-class functionality.

How it works

Hover over the generated image you want to edit and click the options button in the top right.

Click "Edit image"

Now the image editor will be displayed, here you can paint the area you wish to erase directly on the image.

Once you've painted everything you want to erase, click the "Erase" button in the bottom left.

Now just wait for about 1 minute (we're working on speeding this up).

If you're happy with the new image click “Save”. If not, you can undo/redo as needed, or make some more selections for areas to erase.
